Tabistar collects different categories of data based on how users interact with our directory:
To use certain features like submitting business listings, posting reviews, or managing dashboard settings, users must create a Tabistar account by providing information like usernames, passwords, email addresses, profiles, locations, and interests. We use Account Data to provide requested services, customize experiences, enable communication about orders or listings, maintain backups if needed for troubleshooting, and otherwise support users.
We collect technical information about users' devices and interaction with Tabistar platforms to analyze traffic, webpage popularity, feature utilization, and related insights for improving user experience and strategic growth. Data includes IP addresses, devices, language settings, pages visited, usage length, clicks, etc.
Users can opt to provide their email, location, and interests to receive newsletters or promotions. We retain this Marketing Data solely to send relevant communications and give users email management abilities. Consent justifies these practices.

Law Enforcement Requests: Tabistar may disclose specific user data to comply with duly authorized subpoenas, court orders, investigations or other legally valid requests from government, law enforcement or other authorized authorities to meet national security, legal or regulatory obligations. We attempt to redirect such requests to users first where appropriate. But we may be legally mandated to turn over responsive personal information on file without customer consent in certain situations based on legal judgements or statute.
Term Enforcement: We may share account, usage activity or listing details with service partners, legal counsel or law enforcement groups strictly as necessary to investigate, prevent or take action around suspected violations of Tabistar's Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Standards, or other contractual policies, illegal behaviors or harmful activities. For example, patterns of deceptive business listings or reviews may result in information sharing to aid fraud prevention.
Internal Access Restrictions: Tabistar limits employee ability to access user details to only those personnel with a legitimate business need for visibility enabling them to fulfill job duties like providing customer support, fulfilling orders, maintaining IT systems uptime and security, etc. Access permissions are role-based, with escalating tiers of internal visibility permitted only as justified for regulated workforce members. Unnecessary broad access to user personal data is prohibited, user details cannot be accessed out of personal curiosity.
Outside of the above use cases, Tabistar avoids sharing any personal or sensitive user data with external entities without explicit, well-informed consent from the customers whose information is implicated.
